Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking with Zoom Elite Transport. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Fixed Price Transfers

Zoom Elite Transport offers fixed price bookings for airport and cruise terminal transfers across the Wollongong and Illawarra region. All fares are confirmed at the time of booking. By completing a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges will apply in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice prior to the dispatch of the vehicle for Sedan, SUV or People Mover bookings.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice for minibuses or coaches (8 seats and above).
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice for Canberra bookings (any vehicle type).
  • Bookings where passengers fail to arrive or make contact with the driver or Zoom Elite Transport.

Stricter cancellation policies may apply to special events, weddings, and group bookings and will be advised at the time of booking.

As Directed or Hourly Booking Cancellation Terms

  • Full charges apply when cancelling a minibus or bus/coach booking within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time.
  • Full charges apply when cancelling a Sedan, SUV or People Mover booking less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
  • A 50% charge applies when cancelling a Sedan, SUV or People Mover booking between 24 and 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time.

3. Waiting Time

Zoom Elite Transport provides complimentary waiting time well above industry standards for all bookings:

  • 15 minutes complimentary waiting time at homes, hotels or other non-airport pickups.
  • 30 minutes complimentary waiting time at Domestic Airport Terminals.
  • 45 minutes complimentary waiting time at International Airport Terminals.
  • 45 minutes complimentary waiting time at Cruise Ship Terminals.

All flights are tracked via radar and complimentary waiting time only begins from the moment the plane lands, regardless of any flight delays.

Waiting time is charged in 15-minute increments once any complimentary waiting time has been exhausted. Rates include GST:

4. Public Holidays

Surcharges may apply on public holidays. Typically, surcharges will be incurred on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Please check with us when making bookings on public holidays.

5. After Hours Surcharges

A 25% surcharge applies for all vehicle type bookings that begin between 22:00 and 04:59 hrs.

6. Child Restraints

As Zoom Elite Transport is classified as a pre-booked service, there is an expectation under the law that there is sufficient notice for a child restraint to be fitted. All children under the age of 8 years must be seated in a Baby Capsule, Baby Seat or Booster Seat as determined by Australian Law.

There is a standard $30 relocation and fitting fee for baby capsules, baby seats and booster seats per booking — not per seat. Whilst all care will be taken by drivers to install child restraints safely, parents/caregivers are strongly encouraged to check these prior to the start of the journey.

7. Luggage and Trailers

A $10 fee will be charged for the supply of trailers attached to appropriate vehicles. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, please discuss this with our team to ensure the appropriate vehicle and trailer is allocated to your transfer.

If a vehicle and trailer arrive and your luggage does not fit, and the capacity was not discussed prior, you will be required to book an additional service to move remaining luggage at your own cost. Zoom Elite Transport is not liable for additional charges relating to luggage capacity being exceeded. Trailers cannot be fitted to Sedans.

8. NDIS Transport

Zoom Elite Transport is an NDIS Participant Preferred Provider. All NDIS transport is provided in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and relevant NDIS Practice Standards. Carers accompanying NDIS participants travel free of charge. NDIS pricing is in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide.

9. Aged Care Transport

Zoom Elite Transport provides transport services for clients funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). Services are provided in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

10. Limits of Liability and Insurance

Maximum liability, if accepted, will be limited to a refund for the trip in question. All care will be taken, but no liability will be assumed. No claim for liquidated damages, consequential loss, or any other costs will be assumed.

Zoom Elite Transport, its operators and licensees shall be under no liability whatsoever to the customer for any indirect loss and/or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the customer arising out of a breach of this contract.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Zoom Elite Transport website and/or booking our services, you agree to these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and are binding upon acceptance of our services.
